The Gyalwang Drukpa appealed to the Munich Security Conference to preserve ethnic and religious diversity. Peace can only exist on the basis of humanity, reconciliation, the protection of minority rights and a maximum of respect in a world full of differences.

The founder of the online magazine Globalo, Dr. Hubertus Hoffmann, met the Gyalwang Drukpa during the conference and presented the importance of the Himalayas in a global as well as geopolitical context in his magazine.
