A peaceful time at the "Arche"

Children are so closely connected to their nature, they express directly with few words what they feel - this is how the Live To Love team experienced it directly at the CARE action in the children's foundation Die Arche in Billstedt.

Many are catching what is happening in Ukraine. One girl from Afghanistan said she follows children's news and talks to her father about what's happening: "When two fight, you have to talk to each other in a relationship and eventually make up." She said she wants to study politics one day to help people find peace.

Almost 30 children came to the action in the auditorium, played table soccer, jumped on the trampolines and drew their wishes with wax crayons in the hearts of the body outlines - to read were:
World peace, justice, a happy family, joy, "Corona over" - and much more.
The children especially took to heart the self-knitted stuffed animals of Anni, the 80-year-old senior citizen from Emsland, who had again made many for the campaign - her love for children is palpable in every thread.

Creating integration and connection: The children's foundation "Die Arche" is a model project with the goal of offering children of all nationalities and cultures a place where everyone gets their place - and where learning, play as well as joy unite in togetherness.

Our recognition & our respect

... to your wonderful work, dear team of the Arche in Hamburg-Billstedt - the peace of many cultures stands with you on a wonderful foundation!
