The Gyalwang Drukpa visits the Bucerius Summer School

On invitation of the ZEIT-Stiftung the Gyalwang Drukpa has visited Hamburg and was present at a conference of the Bucerius Summer School on Global Governance. He has spoken about "Religion and Extremism". In a statement he said: "But think about it. It is individuals who build peace. An when indviduals build peace it is strong, it is lasting and it is genuine."

Bike Yatra - 5000 km on the road
The Gyalwang Drukpa has drove with 250 nuns on the bike from Kathmandu to Delhi and back - to motivate environmental awareness and to set an example for gender equality.

Fund-raiser for Nepal
Nepal has not recovered from the severe earthquake for a along time yet. The reconstruction advances only slowly. More than two million people are living in emergency accommodations. Currently a lack of fuel makes the transport of relief supplies difficult. Winter is approaching. Please help!
